To help our client, Water Education Colorado (WEco), roll out a new statewide water education plan, Evoque worked with them to develop a strategic communications plan. By implementing the strategies, tactics, and key messages we developed, WEco has generated project support from more than 40 organizations statewide who will help implement the plan locally.
A baseline survey we conducted for Pueblo West Metropolitan District revealed a need to increase customers' awareness regarding their home water use and ways to be more efficient, especially outdoors. To address these needs, we created the "Prairie-Smart Watering" campaign featuring a custom logo, website content, social media posts, handouts, and letters to high water users.
As part of a larger social media program for our client, City of Fountain, we created a series of short and cost-effective videos that could be distributed through their digital communication channels. The slideshow-style videos highlight key information residents need to reduce their home water use, feel confident in the high quality of their drinking water, and stay safe around electrical hazards.
In 2019, we created a Colorado Gives Day campaign for Water Education Colorado (WEco) that generated their highest level of Gives Day fundraising ever. The campaign was thoughtfully crafted utilizing different key messages and strategies for WEco's diverse target audiences. The campaign included a strategic combination of digital, social, and traditional marketing elements that yielded high performance results.
To educate Fountain students about key water and energy related topics, Evoque created a custom 20-page Children's Water & Energy Education Activity Booklet. The booklet features original artwork and activities that make it fun for students to learn about important concepts like watersheds, alternative energy sources, and how to save water and energy at home.
Evoque created a social media content calendar for the Colorado Water - Live Like You Love It campaign. The calendar provides a road-map of monthly themes, subtopics, communications materials, and sample social media posts - making it easy for the organization and its members to communicate with their customers in a strategic and impactful way.
One of the best ways to save water is by reducing outdoor water use, but many residents don't know where to begin. To educate residents on outdoor water efficiency, we created a fun infographic-style fact sheet for our client, Colorado Water Wise (CWW). Partners of CWW's Live Like You Love It campaign can co-brand the fact sheet and distribute it to their residents as part of their local outreach efforts.
The City of Greeley identified a need to make new residents aware of the many water conservation and education programs offered by their utilities department. To increase awareness and drive participation, Evoque created a water conservation programs handout that summarizes all of Greeley's water conservation and education offerings in a succinct, visually engaging format.
Evoque worked with Denver-based construction company Rise & Shine to evaluate the company's branding and marketing efforts then develop and execute a strategic marketing plan. This work included refining the company's brand identity, developing a suite of new marketing materials, refreshing the company's website, and providing ongoing marketing support. Their business has grown 120% thanks, in part, to our efforts.
To give back to the community, Evoque periodically lends our time and expertise to pro bono projects for Colorado-based nonprofits. To assist Reach Out & Read Colorado with revamping their strategic partnerships program, Evoque developed a strategic plan, partner survey, branded content and visuals, messaging, and more. These efforts will generate additional funding to ensure the organization's continued success.
This pro bono project for Denver Audobon featured work in several key areas. We provided branding guidance that showcases what makes Denver and its birds so unique; helped create a donor tier program with convenient donation options to achieve fundraising goals; and provided guidance on building a sustainable volunteer base and increasing engagement with social media followers.
